‘Brought up on a farm, my fascination with the countryside has never left me. When I was a teenager, I wanted to save the world! I decided that by going into the media I might be able to help to do my bit. I’ve moved a long way from my initial idealism, but have never lost my deep felt roots in the land and all its associations.’
